In this email, it is a good idea to remind the interviewer why you feel you are the best fit for the position. You may restate your qualifications and show enthusiasm. Just remember to respect their time with getting back to you. It may be a few days before they are able to give you an answer on whether or not you are being offered the position.
Never be discouraged!
Not being chosen for a position can sometimes be disheartening, but it is all a part of the process. If by chance you are not hired, don't worry! There will be plenty more job opportunities in the future. Always look at a job interview as a learning experience, and take what you have learned into the next interview.
There is also nothing saying that you cant re-apply in the future. If by chance the company you want to work for requires certain education, skills, or certificates, find out what they are and how you might be able to acquire them. That way when you do reapply you will be ready!
